Church halls closed w/b 6th August

The church halls will be out of use during the day for maintenance work week beginning Monday 6th August 2018.   As most will know the Kirk Session has a development project underway at the moment which will see gradual improvement of the church premises over a number of years. This is known as the Blue Skies Project.   The first visible changes will be to the lighting throughout the building - all existing lighting will be replaced with energy-efficient lighting. Bethany Care Shelter Annual Report

Care Shelter Report 2017-2018 Bethany Winter Care Shelter have published their latest annual report. Read the full report here. This was the 22nd winter that the Care Shelter operated in Edinburgh. The Winter Care Shelter provided a lifeline for more people than ever, forced to sleep rough in Edinburgh last winter. A shortage of affordable housing, welfare reform and chronic poverty unfortunately make the shelter a necessity in modern day Scotland. We are immensely grateful to the 1000 volunteers who gave their time to provide this vital service to people in desperate need.

Our Granton Goes Greener project successfully launched on Saturday 30 June. Many thanks to all of you who helped to make this a successful event. We were pleased with the turnout and people who came along enjoyed participating in the many activities including children’s crafts, making miniature gardens and face painting.
