2018 is Waverley Care’s 27th year of working at the Fringe’s biggest venue, the Pleasance.
Waverley Care’s amazing teams of volunteer bucket shakers have become a common sight over the years as audiences have flocked to the Pleasance Courtyard and Pleasance at EICC each August.
Volunteering is a great way to soak up the Fringe atmosphere, do a bit of celebrity-spotting and meet new people while making a positive difference in the lives of people living with or affected by HIV or hepatitis C in Scotland.
Waverley Care are now on the lookout for volunteers to help out at this year’s Fringe. As part of the team, you’ll be collecting donations outside the shows that are supporting us and chatting to Fringe-goers across the venues.
The charity is there every day between 2 – 27 August, from mid-afternoon until late evening. Shifts tend to be 2-6pm or 6.30-10pm, but they can be flexible if you can only commit to a couple of hours.
