15th Mar Esther 6:1-13 The truth will out

Like a good old fashioned crime mystery, the manipulator is not yet exposed. His plan for evil not yet complete but the sleeplessness of a pagan king who chooses to read about his own reign is the vehicle for truth to be revealed. Shakespeare introduce the phrase the truth will out in his play the merchant of Venice, where dodgy dealings appeared a plenty.

Gods truth will always out. The darkness cannot hide or contain the light. Sometimes God uses the most unexpected people just like the pagan king to make his will and truth known.

How open are we to that happening?

Today’s thought-for-the-day is from Emma
