It’s been a great year for our climate change project “Granton Goes Greener”, with our recycling targets exceeded and the number of visitors and volunteers growing.
We’d like to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who has helped in this success story during 2019 – visitors to the Share ‘n’ Wear, volunteers, drivers, fundraisers and administrators – all under the superb leadership of Anna, our Community Engagement Officer.
The Share ‘n’ Wear will be closed over the Christmas and New Year weeks, with the last session of 2019 being on Friday 20th December from 12 – 1pm – re-starting on Wednesday 8th January.
All the volunteers and staff are on a well-deserved break.
A final update from Granton Goes Greener Share ‘n’ Wear for 2019
We have managed to do an application on behalf of one of our service users and get him a free bike, which enables him travelling to different locations and accessing community meals and food banks
