The main way Christians have practiced this is through the Sacrament of communion, sometimes called mass, the eucharist or the Lord’s supper.
One of Jesus’s most important instructions to us was to share bread and wine together in memory of him.
However there are also other ways that Christians have followed those instructions, and one of them is having an Agape meal. Agape is Greek for love and Agape meals are inspired by the way the Christians of the Early Church ate together. They can be done with small pieces of bread and wine, as we do communion, or they can be full meals shared together.
This Sunday we will be sharing an Agape meal together and all are welcome to join in.
