Christians Against Poverty’s award-winning debt counselling helps thousands of people become debt free every year. They are committed to providing a service that takes into account wider circumstances and emotional needs as well as client’s financial situation. The service is completely free and available to everyone.
Getting in touch with the debt counseling service is easy – simply book a first appointment by calling 0800 328 0006 (freephone lines are open between 9:30am and 5pm Monday to Thursday, and between 9:30am and 3.30pm on Fridays). There is no commitment or obligation to work with CAP at that stage. In the First Appointment, either Mark, Life Skills Manager or David, Debt Coach, will explain the service that they offer in detail, how they can help and what you would need to do.
What else does CAP do?
CAP offers much more than just debt counselling. The charity is committed to tackling some of the main causes of poverty – unemployment, low income and life-controlling dependencies – through a range of community groups. CAP has been running the CAP Life Skills programme and the Jobs Club for the last three years and you will find more details of these Edinburgh North Service Summary.
