Norman isn't around this week as it's General Assembly week. As well as being our Parish Minister here at Granton, Norman is also Convener of one of the Church's main departments - the Mission and Discipleship Council. Almost 750 people supported by Bethany Care Shelter in last 7 months

This winter, 746 people (82% men and 18% women) have accessed the Winter Care Shelter run by homelessness charity, Bethany Christian Trust. For the past 32 weeks, the Edinburgh-based Care Shelter has supported hundreds of people who were faced with the crisis of rough sleeping. Providing a safe place to sleep, a hot meal and a range of support from experienced staff and 12 partner agencies, the Care Shelter has prepared a total of 15,680 meals and provided 13,118 bed spaces for people who wou...
