At Granton we believe that children are valued individuals, and that families are a central part of the church and the community. We run a range of events that seek to support families in the community and offer safe spaces for children to have fun and grow in their faith.

Families are welcome at any of our services. We have activities packs for children available, and you need a bit of extra room we have space at the back of the Church where children can stretch their legs. Just speak to the welcome team and they will be happy to help.

For more information please get in touch with David Moodie, our Parish Assistant at david@granton.org.uk. And keep up to date with everything going on at www.facebook.com/childrenatgranton/

Family Film Nights: monthly on Fridays in darker months

During the winter months, when the nights are darker, we run monthly family film nights. These take place in the main church, and films are shown on the big screen. Film Nights are open to all, but children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult over 18. We really encourage families to come out to this together - a family trip to the movies could cost over £20 so this free event is a great way of getting a family night out on a budget, and meeting other families. [ai1ec tag_name="familyfilm" view="agenda" events_limit="3"] We want to ensure that everyone ...

We've been thinking about how we include our children more in the services, so that rather than spending most of our Sunday separated, children and adults have the chance to worship together as one family. To do this for the next few weeks, rather than leaving the service, the children will have a space at the back of the church they can go to where there will be activities and toys for them. It will be supervised by a volunteer, but we ...
