Many churches who traditionally held their services at 11am have now moved to an earlier time and have found that there are lots of advantages. The Kirk Session has decided that the earlier start would be a good idea and that families will have more time on a Sunday afternoon to spend time together after church. During the winter we can all enjoy an extra half hour of daylight!
Sunday worship will still be the same, just shifted half an hour earlier, making church more of a ‘morning’ activity than straddling over lunch-time.
We hope that the earlier start will suit most folk – and of course you’d still be welcome to come in at any time during the service.
