UPDATE ON “THE PLAN”
We were disappointed with Wardie’s decision not to proceed with the Deferred Union but remain committed to working closely with neighbouring churches.
Rev Fergus Cook has written to the Deployment Group repeating our request that we and Inverleith St Serf’s each be allowed to call a Minister on reviewable tenure until the Minister at Wardie retires. No response has been received. A meeting is scheduled between the Deployment Group and our Kirk Session on 9th March.
