February update on the Presbytery Plan

A survey questionnaire is coming soon seeking your input into the future of our church.

The Saga of The Presbytery Plan continues.

I reported two weeks ago that the request of Stockbridge Parish Church for a review of their union with Granton and Inverleith St Serf’s (ISS) had been rejected. Subsequent information from the Deployment Group indicate that discussion will continue, but that the proposed union with ISS should proceed.

To prepare for this process, a small group of for Elders were asked to put forward proposals for preparing Granton’s approach to that union.

A survey questionnaire is being prepared for circulation to the congregation, seeking your input into the future of our church. This will be followed by a congregational conference to debate the outcomes of the survey, probably towards the end of April.

If at any time you have any questions or concerns, please speak to Dan Docwra, our Session Clerk, or any of the Elders.
