Granton Community Gardeners invite you to their harvest meal on Tuesday West November
Granton Community Gardeners is a local group who support gardening and particularly food growing in the area, eg. you may have spotted some community gardens on nearby street corners.
Another thing we do, is host community meals, to bring people together around food, and to celebrate what people have been growing, baking, and cooking. We often find that if we work together, with people joining in with the things they enjoy, that we can all end up sharing a far better meal, than if we all ate on our own in our own separate flats. We currently have some funding from the Scottish Government to support this, and will be hosting as many meals as we can over the Winter.
We’re very grateful to Granton Parish Church, for welcoming us to use the kitchen and hall.
Everyone is invited to our: Harvest Meal, This Tuesday 21st November. Food served 5-7pm.
This will be the first of a series of weekly meals, every Tuesday 5-7pm between now and 12th December.
Everyone is invited, and please feel free to invite neighbours, friends and family. The meals are completely free of charge. But we do invite everyone to consider doing something small to help out, whether cooking, gardening, decorating, clearing a table, washing up, or throwing some change in a donation bucket.
All ages welcome.
Children very welcome, with a responsible adult.
