Our halls are used on most days of the week by community groups

If you are considering joining any of these groups it is best to contact them first before travelling

Our buildings are used by many church and community groups. The table below is intended to give a flavour of the kind of groups that meet, but it’s always best to check with the groups before coming along.

‘Simple and enjoyable exercises for better physical and mental health. Chi gung exercises are like short sequences and movements from T’ai Chi. They are easy to learn and gentle to do, appearing simple, but with far-reaching effects. Good for calming, feeling grounded and centred, they are also excellent for promoting better balance and increasing your co-ordination. Almost everyone finds that chi gung deepens the breath and so improves oxygen uptake leaving you feeling both peaceful and vital. You will feel more stable afterwards. The classes incorporate a little simple meditation and the opportunity for discussion about the art of chi gung and its beneficial use in our lives. All the exercises can all be done standing or sitting. Tamsin Grainger is an experienced teacher and aims for a friendly atmosphere. https://www.tamsingrainger.com/blog-all-posts/sxocg361ouv7a9t1ojzho8oxpgxd2y
