You may have read of little Kai Laidlaw in the Evening News. In September 2013 when Kai was just 8 months old he was diagnosed with Infant Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. Kai’s family and friends are raising money to allow him and his parents to travel to Great Ormond Street Hospital for potentially life-saving bone-marrow procedure.
There is a fundraising event at our church on SATURDAY 13TH JUNE.
And read of Kai’s Krusade on the family’s funding page at http://gogetfunding.com/kai-s-krusade/
Kai’s aunt, Sarah, says “We are fundraising for my nephew who is 2 years old and unfortunately has leukaemia. His options are running out now, but he has been offered treatment in London. However we need to raise funds as my brother has Ms and the NHS in London can’t help with his wheelchair adapted house and carers. We are helping them towards the costs of moving to save our nephew’s life. Our two options are to raise money to get to London, or stop treatment and enjoy our last few months with our handsome boy. London have given us a 10% chance of treatment working but any percent is worth fighting for.”
