Message: Living the Good Life
What does it mean to live the good life? Does it mean going self-sufficient like in the 70s sitcom?
Does it mean being really successful and buying the things you’ve always wanted? Or does it mean sucking the marrow out of life: crossing things off the bucket list and enjoying every experience you can?
For Paul the answer was rooted in Jesus. To Paul no amount of wealth, status, security, or even good health could ever be as good as a life lived with Jesus. Over the next four weeks we’ll look at his letter to the Philippians, how he encouraged them to lead joyful, humble, mature, and peaceful lives. To Paul there was no better life than a life with Christ.
