Prayer Resources – Helpful links that can help us with connecting to God

Prayer is an incredible tool, but it can also be hard to know where to begin. Here are some resources that can help us with prayer.

Praying Outdoors

For hundreds of years Christians have spent time in nature as a way to pray and to reconnected with God. And we are no different. Spending time outdoors can be a great way to slow down and reflect. Below are some resources that can help with that.

Walking Together (2021)

Prayer cards from our Walking Together event. Each card contains a Bible verse, a prompt, and a prayer. Produced during lockdown, several of the cards focus on praying about the impact and effects of the past two years.

Walking Together (2019)

A similar resource produced by the Church of Scotland that can be used in any season.

Pray as You Go

Pray As You Go is a daily prayer session, designed to go with you wherever you go, to help you pray whenever you find time, but particularly whilst travelling to and from work, study, etc. It is produced by Jesuits based in London and is available for free everyday.

Join us on Fridays at 10am in the Church to listen to that day’s Pray as you go through the Church sound system
