With the union of Inverleith St Serf’s and Granton churches drawing slowly closer, there’s an exciting opportunity for us all to get to know each other over a cuppa and cake on SATURDAY 2ND SEPTEMBER in the East Hall at Granton Parish Church from 3pm.
It will be the first chance that we have all had to get to know our new extended church family, and we’re hoping that many folk from both churches will be able to come along.
Nothing heavy! Just a chance for a big blether with each other.
If you are planning to go – and we encourage everyone to come along – let Linda know. It should be great fun to meet new people and hear their stories!
What people are saying about the event and the union…..
“What an exciting time for your congregations! The idea of a get-together over tea and cakes sounds delightful.”
“Strangers are just friends that you haven’t met yet”
Our Kirk Session will continue bring you updates regularly throughout the year so that everyone knows what’s happening. Exciting and positive times lie ahead as the church grows stronger than ever as we continue to “Think Bigger”.
If at any time you have any questions or concerns, please speak to Dan Docwra, our Session Clerk, or any of the Elders.
At our church we aim to introduce people to Jesus so that they will:
