The Thanksgiving and Memorial Service will be held on Sunday 6th January 2019.
Each year we gather to give thank and remember loved ones who have passed away. This year our service will be on the 1st Sunday of the year at the usual time of 10.30am.
This is a quiet contemplative service with opportunity for reflection.
This is a very poignant service where there will be an opportunity to give thanks for the life of those who have passed on and who were of particular significance to us. We in the church recognise that though our loved ones may have moved on from this life we will always hold them dearly in our hearts. It is only right we have occasions where we can formally remember them.
As well as this the service will be an opportunity to give thanks for other occasions in our lives. This could be anything from a new birth, a new house, a new job through to recovery of health or giving thanks for new friends. There is much in our lives it is good to thank God for.
The service will take place on Sunday 6th January 2019 at 10.30am in the Church.
Note that there will be no provision for children at this service.
