The old boiler is away – making way for the brand new ones

The old boiler, dating from pre-1937, has now been removed from the boiler room. The space has now been prepared for the twin boilers being installed next week.

There will be some disruption to the use of the halls during the installation work, but we’ll try to keep this down to a minimum.

Now you see it (it’s been there since 1937!)
….now you don’t!

Some of our members have been hard at work, including Karen and Dan who have cleaned and painted the boiler room ready for the new resident, and Neil who has installed a new sump pump to prevent it from flooding.

There has also been a squad of workers from the church trimming back the trees around the grounds in preparation for the council installing new street lighting.
