The Scottish Chamber Choir presents a rich selection of choral music from the Scottish Renaissance. Robert Carver’s Mass L’homme armé is the apotheosis of early choral writing, celebrating the beauty of the human voice in its intricate journey through the liturgy. Interspersed throughout the Mass, in this concert, are gems from the Wode Psalter, exquisite settings of sacred texts by contemporaries of Carver. A concert of rare and inspirational music.
