The “Cuppa & Cake” event on 2nd September was a great success. I received this from Inverleith St Serf’s:
“On behalf of the congregation and Kirk Session, Helen and I would like to thank you and all your colleagues who helped for a delightful and successful afternoon today. It was great to see so many folk at Granton. Your hospitality was wonderful, and we were made to feel very welcome. Please pass on our thanks to everyone involved.”
There is nothing new to report in Stockbridge Parish Church’s appeal to the Presbytery against joining the proposed union. We are awaiting the outcome of their review request.
With the departure of David and Alice, we have requested Presbytery permission to employ a full-time Parish Assistant. We await a response.
Also, Kirk Session are taking steps to seek a Locum minister to augment the Worship team.
Our Kirk Session will continue bring you updates regularly throughout the year so that everyone knows what’s happening. Exciting and positive times lie ahead as the church grows stronger than ever as we continue to “Think Bigger”.
If at any time you have any questions or concerns, please speak to Dan Docwra, our Session Clerk, or any of the Elders.
