The new year has started with some encouraging news about the proposed union.

After work on the union had stalled last year while we awaited the outcome of the appeal submitted by Stockbridge Parish Church, we have now been told that the appeal has not been upheld. While that’s not the outcome that Stockbridge wanted, it does mean that we can now begin to move forward on the process to agree a basis of union between ourselves, Inverleith St Serf’s and Stockbridge Parish Church.

Over the Christmas period we continued to work with closer ties to Inverleith St Serf’s. More to come in 2024. We have also worked with the Inverleith St Serf’s Communications team to create a new website for them, very similar in look and feel to our own.

All in all, a very positive start to 2024.

Our Kirk Session will continue bring you updates regularly throughout the year so that everyone knows what’s happening. Exciting and positive times lie ahead as the church grows stronger than ever as we continue to “Think Bigger”.

If at any time you have any questions or concerns, please speak to Dan Docwra, our Session Clerk, or any of the Elders.
