TODAY'S SERVICE

Are you new?
Whether you are just visiting or looking for a church home, you’ll be assured of a warm welcome here at Granton.

FIND OUT MORE >

If you’d like to find out more about us and get connected into the community please pick up a copy of our information sheet from the back of the church – or ask one of the Welcome Team for a copy.

What to expect
The only thing we ask you to do is to relax. You are with people just like you. Whether you have been here many times or never been to Church before, you can anticipate an encouraging and enlightening experience.

A bit about us
Our style of worship includes both contemporary and traditional hymns and songs. Words are projected on the big screen so you won’t need any hymn books.

Feel free to sit anywhere within the congregation as there are no personalised seats.

Toilets are located in the vestibule at the back of the church and also just through the door on the pulpit side of the church.

Children at the service
Children and babies are more than welcome to stay with their parents throughout the service. Parents are also welcome to use the sofas in the coffee area during the service.

No strings attached
If you are a guest with us today, please don’t feel you need to give any money in the offering. This service is our gift to you.

For the Jewish people who had a long history with God, they could look back on centuries of tradition. Jesus did not throw that out as he was first and foremost a Jew. Every Saturday he would be at Synagogue and like any other young Jewish boy he would have been taught the Torah (Law).
He honoured the old things. Yet he brought something new. With an emphasis on grace and faith more than works he reinterpreted Judaism. Often he taught not to hold onto old things too tightly at the expense of discovering God anew.

Wise teaching we all need to hear.
