TODAY'S SERVICE

Are you new?
Whether you are just visiting or looking for a church home, you’ll be assured of a warm welcome here at Granton.

If you’d like to find out more about us and get connected into the community please pick up a copy of our yellow information sheet from the end of the row of seats, or speak to any of the welcome team.

What to expect
The only thing we ask you to do is to relax. You are with people just like you. Whether you have been here many times or never been to Church before, you can anticipate an encouraging and enlightening experience.

A bit about us
Our style of worship includes both contemporary and traditional hymns and songs. Words are projected on the big screen so you won’t need any hymn books.

Feel free to sit anywhere within the congregation as there are no personalised seats.

Toilets are located in the vestibule at the back of the church and also just through the door on the pulpit side of the church.

Children at the service
Children and babies are more than welcome to stay with their parents throughout the service. However there is a creche and there are activities for school age children.

Parents are also welcome to use the sofas in the coffee area during the service.

No strings attached
If you are a guest with us today, please don’t feel you need to give any money in the offering. This service is our gift to you.

Today’s take-away

“The Lord is with you, mighty warrior.” Strange words to say to a man cowering in a wine press. But that’s what God said to Gideon. And more than that, God said, “Go in the strength you have and save Israel” Hard as it is to believe, Gideon already had the strength to save Israel within him. He needed to trust God and discover his own inner strength.

We can often feel like we are not good enough, like we can’t live up to the kind of people God wants us to be. But we already have the strength within us.

Transformation isn’t about changing us into different people, but about bringing out the best in us.
