We are going to be celebrating the launch of Granton Goes Greener Project in a few weeks and we need your help! The launch is happening on Saturday 30 June, between 12 noon and 3pm, and will include poetry, stories for children, an expanded clothing swap shop, a bicycle maintenance session and hopefully a guided walk and cycle ride of the local area highlighting the local green-spaces and environmental projects. We’re really excited to be launching the project and letting people know about all the things we have planned.
We are going to need volunteers to help us run the event. Roles on the day will include: collecting bakery products from Baynes the Bakery the day before the event, meeting and greeting people, signing people up (to the newsletter or to be volunteers), helping set up the building before the event, clearing up after the event, staffing the swap shop, someone to take photos for the website and to send to the Climate Challenge Fund. If you’re available that day and would like to volunteer please either send Juliet an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or speak to one of the Ministry team on Sunday, and let us know what you’d like to do and which hours you’d be available.
P.S. We are also looking for some bunting to decorate the church fences for the event, so if you have any spare bunting, please let us know!
